Microsoft has introduced a new update for the Skype Lite application which was launched at the beginning of this year in India, including SMS support and “SMS Insights”. WhatsApp, with more than 200 million users, is the most well-known instant messaging application in India, but not all users have the essential information plans to take full advantage of it.

The application touches base as the more information-friendly version of Skype outlined on account of the Indian market in mind, and it might challenge WhatsApp’s strength. The best sms tracker application is small, light, and powerful, expecting to consider users’ messaging and video chatting needs without requiring many assets.

It supports SMS, and it likewise intends to enhance the entire experience with the new SMS Insights feature that should significantly de-clutter the inbox.

Users these days get all sorts of messages via SMS, ranging from promotional information to SMS from our banks, phone companies, order confirmations, security codes, and other content. Having many such messages can genuinely mess the SMS inbox and make the other SMS harder to find.

However, SMS Insights intends to solve this problem by better sorting out everything so it’s more readily accessible. In some regards, it’s similar with how Google took care of the email mess with its Inbox by Gmail. With SMS Insights, Skype Lite will automatically categorize SMS messages by sorting into different categories, for example, Accounts, Shopping, Flight Information, Reminders, Promotions, and so on.

One tab will demonstrate these SMS Insights, while another tab will demonstrate all SMS messages. This will help you to keep the inbox clean from spams and unwanted messages. The automatic arranging under different classification should make SMS easier to find and manage, getting nearer to the email inbox format.

The company created SMS Insights for Skype Lite with the Indian market needs in mind. They knew users in India receive a vast quantity of information via SMS, and it is likely to miss important information or due dates. The new SMS Insights update is built to help.

The users will have to set Skype Lite as the default SMS application on their phone to take advantage of the new SMS Insights. The application will enable users to send free text messages, also to make video and voice calls.

Skype Lite is intended to work even under poor network conditions. Other features include Skype Bots concentrated on the Indian market to help productivity, information usage tracking, local phone calls and contacts, Aadhaar integration, and many more things. The bad thing is users will have to return to the general SMS application if they want to erase SMS, as this option is currently not accessible in Skype Lite.

Most important, Microsoft is not tracking your SMS messages or store your SMS information on the servers. Only after the users give SMS permission to Skype Lite application, SMS Insights is enabled. The SMS update is at present only available to Skype Lite Android users in India.
